Paint Corrections
Enhancing Your Vehicles Appearance
Service Description
Paint Correction: The Ultimate Finish Restoration What is Paint Correction? Paint Correction is the process of safely removing surface defects from your vehicle's clear coat to restore a deep, glossy, and mirror-like finish. This is not a temporary fix like waxing or using 'fillers'—it is the removal of damage using advanced machine polishing techniques. Think of it as restoring the clarity of the paint until it looks better than new. What Defects Will Be Eliminated? Our multi-stage paint correction process permanently removes or drastically reduces the most common defects that dull your vehicle's appearance: Swirl Marks: Fine, cobweb-like scratches caused by automatic car washes, poor hand-washing techniques, or abrasive towels. These are the most common defects and severely diminish the paint's reflectivity. Oxidation: Faded, hazy, or chalky paint, often seen on older vehicles, caused by prolonged UV exposure. Scratches: Light to medium surface scratches (as long as they haven't gone through the clear coat). Water Spots: Etching and mineral deposits left by hard water. Holograms/Buffer Trails: Machine-induced paint defects left by inexperienced operators using rotary buffers improperly. 1. Single Stage Enhancement This is a one-step polish designed to significantly enhance gloss and remove only the very lightest defects. It uses a moderately abrasive polish to achieve a dramatic visual improvement. Defect Removal Goal: Up to 50-60% Best For: Newer cars, or well-maintained vehicles that just need a gloss boost or removal of minor hazing. 2. Dual Stage Correction (The Standard Correction) This is the industry standard for professional correction. It involves two distinct passes across the entire vehicle: first with a heavy compound to eliminate deeper defects, and second with a fine polish to refine the finish and maximize clarity. Defect Removal Goal: Up to 80-90% Best For: Daily drivers with heavy swirl marks, medium oxidation, and light scratches. This provides the best balance of cost, time, and defect removal.
